‘Battle of the Writers’ is based on 苹果树树树’s novel ‘#游戏大作战 / The Great Battle of Games’, depicting the story of writer Zhao Yijia faces accusations of plagiarism from top online novelist Ye Luan (Chan). His attempts to clear his name are thwarted when evidence vanishes and Luan refuses to engage. This deepens Yijia's resentment towards Luan. However, they unexpectedly collaborated on a project.
